The initial setup was ok, pretty standard for build/it/yourself furniture these days. Some holes dont quite line up unless you force them, some of the instructions are a bit unclear but the pictures make up for it, etc.
If you use your bed for activities, ahem, other than just sleep stay away from this frame. Suffice to say any lateral or rocking motion on the bed will cause the central support legs to fail, break off, and ruin the mattress (and the experience). We barely used this frame for over a year and, as a middle aged couple with a young child, didnt push the limits of what can be done on a bed so I cant say this would hold up at all to any twenty/somethings and an active lifestyle.
