I normally do not write reviews, but at the time I bought this bed I was in a bit of a pinch so I opted to assemble it myself. While the instructions are relatively easy, I should point out making sure to follow the pictures to the EXACT DETAIL. I wish there was a note to emphasize the orientation of certain pieces as I made some errors that extended out this project.
Anyways, I assembled the bed and I know folks had complained about the center beam being unstable. Well, they added a lower crossbeam to keep the center beam from bending, which shows that takes their product reviews very seriously. I will add a picture of this crossbeam later on. Also, in the instruction manual, I saw a picture with end/caps but did not receive any for adding stability and to keep your floors from scraping. Once I move, I plan on ordering these!
Now, during self/assembly. I messed up and was forced to order replacement parts. No problem! shipped for free! They are truly stunning. They made my dream bed frame a reality! I will certainly be ordering from this company in the future for all my bed frame needs. They have done a superb job in every category. Each drawer can hold up to 40 lbs worth of material which is aming. Incredibly spacious! I am falling in love with this company.
I ordered another replacement part. A wooden slat. And it came promptly at no cost to me! I am truly grateful for this investment. I was on the fence, but I am sold at how they make adjustments to their product to make them more durable and sturdy!
