Just as advertised. Expect to spend a little time assembling it, but seems to have reasonable quality materials and goes together as easy as any U/build/it furniture. Has more headroom on the bottom bunk than I expected. The boys (4/5) like it and have not managed to break it in the few weeks weve had it despite their best efforts. Upper bunk is a little higher than another set we bought, but not dangerously so. Great for the kids room. We have hardwood in their bedroom so we added felt feet protectors just as insurance on floor scratches in case they jump a lot on it. That is sure to occur. Would buy again .
