As a 52 female single/mom I needed something that I could assemble by myself. This bed was was up in less than half a day. My kids are 4 and 7, so pretty small. In my opinion, the bunk bed is sturdy enough for a lightweight adult on the top bunk. All pieces were in perfect condition and every piece had a label. I am very impressed with this bunk bed considering the reasonable price. I even purchased my mattresses on and they fit great (pay attention to the bed measurements) It was incredible to buy everything in one place.
