It took a while to assemble because it has a lot of parts but they are all needed to make the Bed frame very secure. My teen girls are happy with it. The only uncomfortable part is the latter to climb to the top bunk. If it was a bit wider it probably would be better and wouldnt hurt on the feet when climbing. Other than that, we are very happy with the bed frame.
