I had been on a search for counter height, swivel barstools with cushions for about a year. I came across similar items but the prices were outrageous! When I came across these, I thought they were perfect! I assembled them myself, didn't take much more than a couple of hours for 4 chairs. Each chair came with all the parts needed, and instructions. They are very very sturdy wood stools with the metal accent. I read several reviews, some people were unhappy because the colors of the wood didn't match but I'm not sure if that's because they ordered one pair and then another pair. I ordered all 4 at the same time to ensure they came from the same batch and I didn't have an issue with any discoloration. The chairs swivel all the way around and do not have that spring that repositions them back in place. They do not have any protection on the ends of the legs, which didn't bother us, we just bought some and put them on. Super happy with the purchase.
