It wasnt bad to assemble, Im just not good at assembling things.
It IS pretty small/ I recommend actually taking a tape measure in the space you want to put it to better visualize how small it is.
As for sturdiness. It isnt When the table raises, there is nothing to ensure both sides raise equally, so if you just try to pull it up using one hand (or even both) in the middle, you will spill whatever is actually on the table (RIP Cherry Limeade).
