Putting this together was a nightmare. Granted, I did it myself, but the instructions have ZERO words in them, just pictures. The pieces were all labeled correctly, but trying to see which direction the pieces were facing in the pics was terrible. A couple times I had to unscrew things I put together because they were backwards.
The weight of the table is heavy and feels very sturdy and of quality wood. The top surface is gorgeous and I put a little wood polish on it and it came out even better.
The lift/too is smooth to open and close, albeit you need two hands to do it as the top is heavy and the springs on each side are independent. I would recommend this table!
Last note. make sure you have a short/low couch, as when it is open, it hits my knees on my very high couch, and does not get over the top of my legs to actually be useable. I am getting new furniture anyway and now o have to keep this in mind when Im shopping for the couches
