My wife and I ordered 2 of these to go side by side next to our bed. We were a bit nervous with reviews stating the item arrived damaged, missing pieces and that it was hard to put together. I am happy to say that none of the above were factorsexceptkeep reading.
Both dressers arrived perfectly packaged, no damage to the box or pieces inside and everything was as it should have been. All pieces were labeled properly. We unpacked everything and sorted the pieces ready to tackle these beasts at the same time together. With a bit of trepidation, we opened the manual and began out journey / and / it will be a journey / but / a surprisingly easy one!
We started assembly at 7 PM and finished at 9:45 PM. So, the reports of this being a bit time consuming are correct, however, the instructions are absolutely some of the best Ive ever read. PAY ATTENTION TO THE PICTURES! All of the details of which way a piece should face with the holes and screws and pegs that are needed in specific areas are clearly laid out as long as you pay attention to what is shown. Theres even some fun little things they include in the manual along the way like after the first couple steps a little note saying some assembly required and snacks! with a picture of a pretzel.
Take your time and it will be fine. We are by no means handy at all and our dressers turned out beautiful. The color is great and we were so surprised at the quality and heftiness of these! They feel and look like 1000+ pieces. Highly recommended!!
