Ive had the rifle safe now for a few weeks. In general, Im liking the safe itself. The fingerprint reader has worked flawlessly, and I also use the code (which I reprogrammed from the default) periodically, and that has worked well also. I like the lockable compartment within the safe. The safe included 3 pre/drilled holes in the back, and 2 in the floor to secure it in place. If you do not secure it, just know that it can be somewhat tippy with the door open, and subject to falling over. They have also included anchors, although those are more for anchoring into concrete, and not a normal hollow wall or wall stud application. You would need to use something else for those. One thing I was concerned about was the headroom inside the safe, for longer guns. In case you wonder, like I did, the distance from inside floor of the safe to the bottom of the lockable compartment is just under 50 1/4.
To be honest, reprogramming the code was not easy when following the instructions. But, if you go to the Moutec online site, they do have some helpful videos to get you through it (and some other instructional items). The company has been very attentive after the sale. So, far, I really like my purchase.
