I read reviews before deciding to purchase. This is a great platform bed for the price. Just have to reinforce it because it comes with as my husband describe them as sticks that wont support the weight of our pillow top mattress. It took my husband about 3/4 hours to reinforce and put together. Oh and by the way, we are having great sex on this bed with no issues. My husband is 64 about 260 lbs and Im 58 and 180 lbs for reference and the bed holds our combined weight. i am enjoying it
