This is not a great slipcover. I am giving it three stars because it will fulfill its job of keeping my cats from scratching the couch, but there are more cons than pros to this particular slipcover.
The instructions for putting it on are completely wrong. They say that there is a back tag on an inside seam that should be oriented to the back and center of the couch. I searched the inside of the slipcover thoroughly before placing it on my couch and wasnt able to find it. I decided to try putting it on anyways as the slipcover has obvious seams that are designed to fit the arms and back of the couch. After I put the slipcover loosely on the couch, I finally found the tag on an outer seam, meaning that its visible when the slipcover is in place.
After finding the elusive tag, I started off by orienting it to the center back of the couch as instructed and found that the arm and back seams were completely wrong. I decided to put the slipcover on so that the seams matched my couch and found that the visible back tag is on the bottom right corner of my couch. After fighting to get the slipcover into position, I tried to secure it with the foam rollers. I was able to secure the slipcover somewhat, but it isnt a great fit. It is tight in some places and loose in others.
Finally, this slipcover is a velour material that attracts pet hair like a magnet. I would be more forgiving of this if I wasnt so frustrated from trying to get it on my couch. At least this thing is machine washable to make up for it. not happy at all
