This accent table is an excellent value given that it is a solid wood product. I am not certain what type of wood this table is made of, but it is a white wood that has been sanded and is ready for stain or paint. The table top and the shelf below are 3/4 thick. Assembly is straight forward and only takes a few minutes to put together. The table is quite sturdy and I expect it to be with us for quite a number of years.
