So easy Im blind and I successfully assembled it un assisted in the end. My daughter tried to help, but lets face it my 6/year/old at the time of assembly didnt really understand this type of thing.
Pros: Its held up to kids abuse for over a year now. it holds the weight as stated. My now 7/year/old, 3/year/old, and 2/year/old all can be on the top bunk with me. Im 5/8 Ft tall, and weigh between 115/125 LBS. My children are your average weight for their age groups, so you can do the math. Missing slat was shipped promptly, so ended up not being an issue.
Cons: was missing one slat, ladder hurts if climbed bear/footed, and the beds are wabbley even with screws tightened to the max.
The one trouble I had as a blind individual is I confused the top bunk railing with the bottom one, and had to disassemble and reassemble it due to not feeling the whole at first where the safety rail screwes onto the top rail. Other than that, its straight forwards. Obviously the instructions were useless due to being in print and were too big of a page to scan with my KNFB Reader app on my IPhone for it to read them aloud. Other than that as stated assembly is common sense. If your looking for cheaply priced, but will do the job then this bed will do for you. what else can I say
So easy a blind man can do it.
