It was certainly a bag for my buck for the sturdiness of the frame. Wish the headboard was slightly taller, cannot really appreciate the headboard if you have more than one set of pillows. I have a 12 inch mattress, so with the bedding you cannot really see much of the headboard. Space below is plenty if one needed it for extra storage. My son loves it!!
