These are good stools for the price. When assembling (which is super simple by the way), be sure to take the black plastic protector off of the hydraulic pole. I accidentally left it on when I assembled the first barstool since the directions dont specify that it needs to come off and it inhibits your ability to make the chair go down. I do agree with the other reviews that they are a bit narrow if you sit with your thighs side by side. Still wouldnt have been a deal breaker for me though. I love that the bottoms arent chrome so that smudges and dirt wont show up. Working well.
