I put this together alone in about 90 minutes, so it's not hard, but don't tighten the screws until you are done or you will redo your work, as I did. I love the color. The wood is a nice finish. Overall it looks more expensive than it is. I recommended it to my sister and she ended up purchasing one in grey .
Some notes: the back is slanted so works better in an open area than against a wall, imo. The back is low so great for keeping sight lines, but may look short next to other furniture. The seat is long so I keep a pillow on it (except when I want to cross my legs and sit all the way back).
