I gave this item 2 stars instead of one because it appears to be well made, but as far as sleeping on it, it is hard as a rock. I received a message from the seller while the item was in transit stating that I may want to purchase a foam mattress for the sofa bed. If you have to purchase a foam mattress for a sofa bed you should probably not call the item a bed.
