This is a great bunk bed, especially for small spaces. I think it takes up a little less room than wooden ones. I also like that the ladder is attached so the kids cant remove it. The assembly was a breeze until you get to the little plastic things that fit into each support rod. I would recommend making sure you have all the side bars in the correct place before beginning this step so you dont have to take these out. I think other reviews say the same. We used adjustable pliers to push in the little tabs. This worked much better than using our hands. Regular twin mattresses fit perfect so theres not need to buy a special mattress. I thought this was a great value! My first one did get lost in transit while being shipped but quickly shipped me another one. GREAT LOVE IT!!!
