Expected. I love the way this turned out. I assembled it myself, and it holds quite a bit. The shelves feel sturdy. Its not a jet black finish but almost a black/brown.
My only issue was installing the doors. It took me forever to adjust those things using the instructions, which werent helpful. If theyre off a little bit, the door wont close or theres a giant gap on the sides or top/bottom. I dont think I ever got the doors to be consistent with each other, but at least they close.
