Cant hold up to the flow and flows way more than 1.85GPM
I loved the look of this shower piece, the function, the price, the fact it came with the valve and everything. It was easy to install and matched the bathroom look overall. Then we tried using it. The big head fills with water and wont stay positioned, it can only point basically down. You cant put enough tension on the head to keep the head pointed. So within 3 uses my husband resorted to duct taping it, not the aesthetic we were going for! Secondly, look in the technical description. The first flow rating says 1.85GPM, so I stopped reading. However, after installing and finding a ~10 minute shower used near 100 gns, I do also see below that in flow description it says 2.5 gns per minute. Frankly its about double that or more. We live in the mountains and pay about 10x the cost of city water so it wont work for us at all. Well keep the handheld because its already installed (and its still pretty and useful), but well have to go back to the drawing board for a different main head, which is pretty disappointing. And now that its been installed and long past refund by , were stuck with it either way.
