Definitely darker than what the photo looked like but I still love it I put it together without the instructions and it was so easy!! Its not super comfortable but its not terrible. Its a y type of material. I thought it was gonna be soft for some reason. Ignore my finger btw I was hiding the background lol. But I would recommend this chair. Im redoing my whole room and I love this new piece! Satisfied
