I didnt expect a lot, given the price of this bed. The quality is decent / not designed as well as beds but I dont tend to beat up my furniture so I am satisfied, if not thrilled. Again, for the money it isnt bad. The finish looks nice and everything fits together well. My two complaints are as follows: 1) This is not a true platform bed. The included slats that form the platform are not sufficient to support a foam mattress. A box spring would probably be fine, but I had to add additional decking on top of the slats in order to make the bed feel solid. 2) The drawer design is rather poor. I believe the drawers will be THE big failure point if they are not assembled with a drop or two of Gorilla Glue at each joint / attachment point. That said, my alternate method of assembly has proven to be very solid so far and the drawers are holding up well and they open / close smoothly with decent storage space in each one. Quality could be improved.
