Step 1 has you taking the long screws to attach the ends to the top board. Not only can I not get the screw to catch in the threads, but the screw is so long that it would go through the top. The screw head also just comes right through the hole. What are the screws so long? Why are there some kind of nut.
Ill update when I get it put together, which will clearly require a run to Home Depot.

Instruction booklet states long screw on step 1 but it should be long bolt.
The stand is very sturdy and holds my 55in TV nicely. Its the perfect height for watching TV and Ive received compliments on the stand from several friends. Well done, great delivery
