I am absolutely thrilled with this buy! For the price I am in shock of the quality! If you take it one step at a time and follow the directions its super easy to put together. I did it myself in less than 3 hours. I would recommend a second person to help put the top bunk on, but I managed to finagle it myself. I wont be doing somersaults on it myself or anything. But totally solid for my 4 and 9 year old sons. I would feel safe sleeping on this myself, but its not super thick solid wood all around. I appreciate how high the safely bars are since my 4 year old claimed to top bunk. Only downside: one guard rail was slightly longer on one side and bowed. I had to loosen the second guard rail a bit to even if our, but that honestly didnt make much of a difference to me. Still a good product in my eyes! One person job.
