When we remodeled our kitchen several years ago, we added a dining counter and ordered some padded, swivel counter/height chairs. The salesman pulled a fast one on us and upsold us a set that was more expensive than we were planning to buy, claiming that they were better built. Heh. We shouldve known better / the welding that held the seats to the base on those chairs started failing within a year and within two years we had purchased a set of cheap counter height stools to take their place.
When I saw these, they looked similar to what we had originally wanted to purchase, so I ordered a set. They were very easy to assemble, probably less than five minutes each, and they have a simple elegance to them that I find attractive. The padding makes them comfortable to sit on, and you can select the exact height you prefer with the easy height adjustment. They also clean really well with just a damp cloth. Finally, the base of the seat appears to be better built than the more expensive ones we were convinced to buy years ago, and I dont anticipate these falling apart any time soon. its very nice and I love the color. Worth it
