Was a little hesitant to buy the Gray hybrid mattress, but eventually went for it because all the negative reviews seemed to be for the Blue foam mattress. We were buying for a younger child, so we chose a sturdier, more traditional spring mattress that he wouldnt sink into like foam, for safety reasons.
So far, we love it. It arrived rolled up and sprung open very easily. A letter opener was included, which made it a breeze to unpack. Because its primarily a spring mattress, it popped right open and immediately grew to its full size and shape. We didnt have the same issues reported by those who bought the foam mattress. It seems comfy, and our son loves it and has slept well on it so far.
One note is that the stock picture that depicts the inside of the mattress is clearly not correct, because I can feel standard metal springs inside (not the blue ones pictured), and the springs go almost to the top of the mattress, right where Im holding my finger in this picture. I would expect that the seam between the two sections would be the dividing line between the spring part and the foam part, but that isnt the case. The majority of the mattress is springs, and the location of the seam is totally arbitrary and just for show. Not a big deal to me, as the mattress is working for us so far, but worth noting that the listing pics are a bit misleading.
It also does not isolate movement any better than any other spring mattress Ive ever encountered, so dont buy based on that marketing claim.
So far so good
