I was super excited to get this chair but after I put it together and sat in it I was highly disappointed. Here are the positives:
1. It looks great!
2. Has a nice big side pocket to store things in.
Now for the negatives:
1. The seat itself is hard as a rock and I feel like Im sitting on a bench.
2. The massage feature is not a massage but simply vibrations. And although its a rather strong vibration, its not a massage.
3. When you do use the massage feature, its loud and isnt great to use while trying to rock baby to sleep.
4. It squeaks/creaks while rocking unless you limit your rock to more of a tilt but even if you do that the seat will squeak/creak when you go to get up potentially waking baby after theyve already fallen asleep.
5. The chair isnt made for tall people. Im 57 and 3/4 and the back of the chair isnt high enough for me so I find myself tilting my head up and back to rest it while Im nursing.
6. When I recline the chair, it only supports me to mid calf and the rest of my legs are left dangling.
Overall I would NEVER recommend this chair to anyone especially a new mom. Its not worth the money that was spent on it. Its uncomfortable to sit in, it doesnt massage but vibrates, its not made for tall people, and its loud as all loud can be.
