I looked and looked for a vanity that was sturdy and had decent lighting. Many had lights that attached by adhesive. But the wires were very obvious. (imo, tacky) This mirror has 3 settings and each setting dims. There are NO wires showing. It is a very classy and professional looking vanity. I like the storage drawers and countertop for storing my often used makeup and brushes. I HIGHLY recommend this set.
