Have realistic expectations for something this cheap.
I know there is a lot of bad reviews here, but I think people need to have realistic expectations based on the price. This is a cheap item designed to cover a basic need of a night table... it does that great. Will it last years? I very seriously doubt that. Is it made with cheap materials? Yes... thats what youre paying for. Does it look great for under $20 (and thats for two night stands)? Yes, absolutely! It is fairly utilitarian for such a small piece, and it wasnt horribly hard to put together.
I definitely recommend having a power driver handy for assembly, but not a bad buy at all.
