I bought 2 of these and am very happy with the purchase. I read EVERY review and purchased memory foam mattresses for both beds. I have an 8 on top and a 5 on the bottom. There is just enough room for the 5 and sheets to slide under the bed. I have found that further support was needed. I bought 4 sheets of MDF and cut them down to fit the outside frame dimensions. I screwed it down with 6 button head screws per piece. Several reviews said that this wasnt needed but I found that I could feel the support members under the mattress without the additional support. Once added, it seems to be a quality product that should last for my lifetime. Easy as it says.
