this item was easy to assemble, it did take some time, so plan it out once you have separated the items. it took be about 2.5 hours in all. The item unfortunately was delivered with a dent in the front of the top shelf. The box clearly had gone through some beating on its way to being delivered.
The item is made with particle board so if you are looking for something that will be long lasting and durable, this is not the item for you. The back does not come with a particle board but with a cardboard backing. Ive just left it off since no one will see the backside and I think the card board is tacky.
it is pretty though and it fits the area that I needed. Easy to assemble. Very sturdy.
