Cant recommend if looking for a long term piece in your home.
My first piece of advice is if you have all wood floors like I do, when you unpack this, do not sit it on the floor. It will immediately get scratched up. I opened up the package and sat all the pieces on the floor. In picking them up to put together every piece was scratched up. It looked like Id owned it for some time before it was even put together.
Like others, I liked the color contrast. The pretty blue on the interior was a nice color splash. But the cons unfortunately outweigh the pretty colors.
Cons:
It scratches unusually easily. In putting this together, corners were already rubbed off, the panels were scratched up//I was very surprised.
The thing that made me decide to throw in the towel on this was the issue with the doors. The guide holes for the screws to place the doors on the piece were missing in action. There were no guide holes. I dont know if this is a one off, but considering the directions say to use a Philips head screwdriver, its definitely an issue, because you cannot use a screwdriver. There are no guide holes. You have to use a power tool. I tried to align the holes on the door, but just could not align the holes just right to get the doors to close properly. By this time, the piece is scratched up, in having to create guide holes and trying to align the door, the doors are scratched, the corners are rubbed of//just this piece is just unusually cheap. I have never purchased furniture that I already put together. But I am putting the effort into breaking apart, walking it down my stairs, lugging to my car and to a UPS to drop off to return to . For 200, I am not keeping to cheap piece.
