The most important connection and the first per the instructions, securing the brackets to the headboard were not cut on alignment. Since I just had moved in, I had no other tools, and it took me hours of handwhittling the precut wood holes so that the screw would align and screw into the headboard. Truly a nightmare. The headboard fabric is nice though.
