1-It is pretty, the flames are so nice to watch
2-It makes a little noise, like a humming in the background which you get used to quickly and dont really notice it was making that sound till you turn it off.

4-The remote control is such a nice feature, but you have to aim it perfectly at the sensor for it to work.
5-I have a big family room which was a 2 car garage many years ago. The heater takes a long time to warm the room. Probably an hour. But then Ill leave the room and come back and the room will feel so cozy but only as far as taking the chill out of the air.
6-The flames and heat are adjustable from a little of each to a lot of each. They do run independently of each other, so you dont have to have high heat to get high flames.
7-The outside does not get warm.
