I was skeptical about a veneer TV stand but this turned out to be a sturdy and very nice one. If you take your time assembling it there should be no problem. We have a 65 Samsung on it and it looks like it was made for it size wise. The cabinets with doors are a nice place to hide wires. One side contains a multi-outlet surge arrester where all of the power cords are routed. The only suggestion I can make is when you decide the height of the shelf in the middle put whatever device(s) you want on it, you may want to drill a hole at the shelf level so the cords go straight back and not upward so they can be seen.
