This is a good looking bed at an attractive price point. The assembly instructions are pictures only, no text. Seems like quality hardware. I dont know if it needed it or not but I tie wired the side rails together at the middle connection to keep the slats tight. I also triangulated the frame using tie wire. Im an ex carpenter and I had the wire, so why not. I also laid plywood over the 6 on center slats, because the mattress that I bought recommended closer spacing. Its a lot easier to do all that before theres a mattress dropped on the frame.
