My daughter originally had picked out a similar bed frame at a certain Swedish big/box, but due to Covid and the issues surrounding getting freight through customs (or at least this is what I was told) that store was out of the frame and was not going to be restocking any time soon. As this was for her college apartment, I didnt want her sleeping on a mattress on the floor for too long, so I found this frame online and had it shipped to her. The price was very comparable to the other one, the frame arrived very quickly and in great condition. Thanks to other reviewers, I was able to message her and tell her to look at the back of the headboard for the remaining pieces (she thought that was very ingenious) and between herself and her roommates, the bed was assembled and made up very quickly. The slatted base was a necessity, as she has a foam mattress. This bed is much nicer/looking, in my opinion, than the other one, and so far has been holding up very well (of course shes only had it for 2 months, so time will tell.) All around we are pleased with this purchase. Thank you so much.
