Its easy to assemble and operate. You just pop in the batteries, reset the code, scan some fingers and youre in business. It also comes with a back up battery pack that can be used to power the biometric locking panel from the outside. Thats a thoughtful touch for when/if the installed batteries die. This safe fits in my bedroom closet and holds scoped long guns comfortably. I use the lock box on the top to secure my ammo, ear, and eye protection.
The door panel organizer is something that you have ask for separately. AND its free. I have to say that this addition made this safe a complete answer for my needs. It securely connects to the door and has 3 hand gun slots, 3 magine slots, a medium pouch, and a large pouch I use for manuals and documents. The middle hand gun slot is removable, so you should have no problem if you have 2 handguns with long barrels.
