Easy directions to follow. Thirteen y/o son and I put it together in about an hour. Its sturdy and looks a lot nicer than a single bed. I also ordered the 2/pack bunk bed mattresses by the same company although a standard twin mattress fits on the daybed portion of the bed (the trundle needs the smaller mattress). So far, so good. Just as seen in the picture!!!
