Excellent safe for the price!
Very sturdy safe and easy to use. Fingerprint reader has worked flawlessly so far and locking mechanism seems secure. Mounting holes on the back and on the floor for secure mounting to wall stud or cement floor. Locked box inside safe was surprisingly bigger than expected. Removable middle shelf is metal and sturdy. Safe came with foam insert for shelf to hold pistols and works OK but you are probably better off with a more sturdy foam holder for the space. I am very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it!

Much better safes available for the money
I bought this as my first gun safe. Its fine for that, its reasonably sturdy and has 5 bolts and biometric security for quick access. The biometric reader is ok, it usually takes 1/2 attempts before it lets me in, but it works. Its not fireproof at all, which I knew when I bought it. But I recently bought a Winchester gun safe, larger and fireproof for 30m @ 1400F, with better security for roughly the same price. It doesnt have a biometric reader, just a keypad, but its a far better and more secure gun safe. Theres nothing wrong with this safe functionally, but its overpriced for what it offers. It should be priced in the low 300 range. There are simply better options available in the 400+ range.

What I really like about this gun safe is that it has 3 options to open it up. Besides the usual key and key pad they added the biometrics feature which is way faster and more convenient in opening the safe. The fingerprint scanner is spot on, you just have to program multiple fingers at at multiple to get an accurate sensor reading. You can have up to a hundred fingerprints programed into the biometrics reader. I had mine set up to 2 fingers and thumbs with as many angles and it works great! I like everything about the safe, the black steel finish, the interior, the lock mechanism and how you can adjust the gun rack if you have a long or short barrel rifle. The safe also comes with a small lock compartment inside where you can keep your important documents. A day after I register the warranty of my gun safe I recieved an email from Lucy thanking me of the purchase and the warranty registration and offered me a free door panel organizer. I recieved the free gift a few days after. I like the panel organizer, its a sturdy material and fits just right on the the interior door. I like everything about this company. From their gun safe to their customer service it is nothing but excellence. I would recommend this to my friends and would buy another gun safe from them if the need arises.

Received mine with no damages like some others. Great starter safe. So you dont have your stuff all over the closet floor. Bolt it down to make it sturdy. Biometrics work all the time. Just make sure when youre registering finger print after pressing the button hold it till for the first beep then do it 3x. Great communication. I got an email from Lucy for the free door organizer. Shipped quick also.

Wow this thing is small .my shotgun wont fit at all. Not much room for ammo hand guns in classes forget it. Pretty much useless. Ymmv
Great value for rifle safe.
This product is just what I was looking for. Easy to move. Easy to setup. Battery backup. I added a rechargeable light inside the top like others have mentioned. You can not go wrong to keep out those who should not have access.
Very Happy with the safe.
Safe is great. Drilled my own holes and used my own hardware to install in my location. Finger print reader works good, just make sure you do multiple entries for each finger you plan to use in different positions and you should have any problems opening it. I saved some of the foam the came with the packaging, cut it to size and use it in the bottom of the safe for a little padding. Also added three motion lights and a dehumidifier (not show in picture), got them after. Ordered another one to install on the other side as well. Only wish they made them with a right and left henge option (are you listening Langger) because it is a little difficult to see and access the other one but not a problem with the safe more of a me problem because of where I had to place it. Would definitely recommend.
