Great space saver, affordable, sturdy, looks great
PACKAGING: This bed is well packaged, and came in a relatively small box considering how large the final piece is. ASSEMBLY: Against my better judgment, but in the interest of time, I put this together by myself. It took about 3.5 hours total. The instructions were decent, but there were a couple pieces I had to redo because the diagram wasnt very clear on which way to turn the piece and I was in a hurry so I missed it until I tried to attach the next piece. Placing the slats underneath was a bear. The plastic squares that close up the openings to keep the slats in place were brutal on the fingers. I was afraid to use a hammer because I didnt want to break them, but they were so hard to lock into place I was nearly in tears. I tried starting from different angles and it didnt seem to make much of a difference. Maybe wear gloves for that step? STURDINESS: This generally feels pretty sturdy. I love how many slats there are to support the mattress, so sagging should not be an issue. It does creak a bit and Im slightly bummed by that. SIZE: Im not sure if the mattress space is tighter than it should be or if the mattress I bought is slightly larger than it should be, but there is ZERO space to comfortably make the bed. The sheets are just kind of crammed into place. That is the most aggravating part of this bed, but again Im not sure if its the beds fault or the mattress. COMFORT: As others have stated, the ladder rungs are very painful on a bare foot. After a couple weeks I decided to hack around that. (See video in this review) For $2 at Lowes you can buy a foam pipe cover and cut it to size for each rung, and the bottom frame. I slid those over the rungs and they made a significant improvement in comfort, but felt dangerous because they spun around. So I grabbed double-sided grip tape used to keep area rugs in place, and cut into the appropriate size strips and placed them under the foam on each rung. Problem solved! Now more comfortable and safer.

Great for kids
This was pretty easy to put together (I did by myself). We have had it for a few months and the only major issue is that the screws on the ladder comes loose, so I check it quite often. If not, the ladder may separate from the frame as a child is climbing up. Feels sturdy but does creak and shake if you have a flip-flopper in the top bunk. Overall we are happy with it.
Got a faulty part with no holes.
Completely stuck and cant do anything since I got a part without a drill hole.
Bed frame measurements not correct
I bought this bed frame for my daughter using a existing full mattress I have at home. The mattress would have fit if the bed frame measurements where correct on the website. Now I have to order another full mattress from to fit. It was pricey for this bed frame. Not happy about this after searching for this bed frame that should have been larger than my mattress that why I paid the higher price.
Sold after 6 months
I should have trusted the reviews. The bed moved a lot ever after we secured it to the wall. My daughter refused to sleep on it because she would wake up because it moved so much.
Awesome Bed for
I was looking for a good loft bed for myself (24 yo) in my new place. And this fit the bill. Wonderful bed, no creaking, easy assembling. Only issue is rhat they sent duplicates of a part and excluded another but the replacement shipped the following day after reporting and arrived within 7 business days. Overall awesome bed.
not sturdy!
Even though the weight limit is high, its not sturdy at all. It wobbles and shakes. Also, its not easy to get up the ladder, the steps hurt your feet. My son has to wear his shoes when he goes up. It would be a pain to take apart and package, but Id return it I still could.
