You may need some help assembling for certain parts. But I did it with cracked ribs. Instructions are very easy to follow.

Solid Wood Construction

I was impressed with the solid wood construction, sturdiness, and overall design of this bed. The wood slats velcro into place on the frame. Smart design falling into my KISS principal. There are peel and stick adhesive strips on two of the wood slats to help hold the mattress in place. (Mattress is on order, so have not confirmed how well that will work.) The build kit included a very cool, very useful allan key ratchet tool that made assembly fast and easy. The style of the bed is rustic with a bit of modern/industrial vibe. My only 2 complaints are: 1.) There is no lip for the mattress. It looks like its going to sit on top of the bed frame. Im assuming thats why they have the adhesive strips on the slats. 2.) Two of the predrilled holes that connect the headboard to the frame were slightly off. Just enough to make the final assembly step a bch. I dont think I would have been able to muscle it in place on my own. My husband delivered furniture all through college and built his share of KD furniture, so he was able to use a little man/muscle and finesse to get it to work. I bought this bed for my son while hes away at college because he took his old bed to school with him. Im very pleased with the purchase and would recommend. Value is good for the price

Nice bed and ease of assembly for super low price

I received this bed 9/22/20. I had paid extra for the delivery personnel to bring it into the house. I would recommend this if you dont have 2 personnel because it is heavy. I had read other reviews and some documented that it was hard to assemble. I found it quite the opposite to assemble. It took me roughly 1.5 hours to get it together by myself. The only problem area that I had was attaching the headboard to the frame once I had the frame assembled. The directions were quite clear and the drawings were helpful and informative. There was no guessing with the directions or pictures like some other furniture that I have put together over the years. They even provided a nice ratcheting allen wrench which greatly aided in the assembly. I definitely will be keeping that ratcheting allen wrench in my tool box. The only downside to the bed I would say is that the frame will need to be disassembled for moving but I would only count this as a minor deficiency. Overall, the bed is super sturdy and quite sharp for low price of 350. Nice for the price.

Beautiful. Sturdy. Seriously Easy Assembly!

The packaging felt like they took a lot of care. The Instruction pages were simple and accurate, and the actual parts were neatly labeled. All the holes seemed to be perfectly aligned! My husband put this together in under an hour with minimum grunts of frustration. Its beautiful and sturdy. Thank you, Zinus! Tip: To get the last of the holes to match up/headboard piece to frame/, we had to untighten the top screws that were put in the headboard first. Tip2: The slats seemed longer than the frame, we untightened the frame a little, slipped the slats right in, and then retightened the frame. Exceeded my expectations

No box spring, no problem

Love this bed!! Perfect size, easy to assemble (I did it all myself! No issues!) and it is just BEAUTIFUL. Idk why everyone is complaining about the headboard, I think they all just have box springs, but as this item states: a box spring isnt needed. Its the perfect height, its sturdy, and it offers a lot of stability for my mattress!! I completely recommend this product to anyone who is thinking about getting it! Good product for its value

Love this bed and mattress. It arrived on time

Dimensions are off.

For the price it functions how it should. The bed frame itself looks good but the dimensions are off. We have a queen sized tuft and needle mattress and it doesnt fit the frame. It protrudes over the front. The bed is put together and we dont want to deal with returning it. Will just need to get a long duvet cover to hide it. Overall 300 for a mattress you get what you get. Needs improvement in quality.
