Sleek and nice design but could be more comfortable!

The Kido and Shellder Counter Height Bar Stools come in a nicely packed box with straightforward assembly instructions. They are lightweight and easy to move around the kitchen. I liked the uniform design of the stools with a single color and I also like the compact design of the stools which makes them a great addition to smaller and thinner counter bars. The height adjustment is done by step by step process and the stools seem to be safe (although they are much smaller than other counter bar stools that I have ever had) The only issue that I noticed after a few times of using was a relatively low amount of padding on the seat and the back (no padding on the back!). It becomes a bit uncomfortable for me after sitting for a while. Also, the edges of the seta do not have any padding and may bother your legs. Overall, these are very nice and compact counter bar stools made with high-quality materials and durable plastic. However, if you are looking for more comfort levels, you might want to take a look at other models with more padding on the seat and the back of the seat.

Stylish look without the price tag. One chair is a little wobbly but I really only needed 3 stools so its fine. overall a great purchase

Sturdy, Attractive, Light on Padding

We purchased these as an upgrade from simple, wooden stool with round seats. They sit at our kitchen island. Easy to assemble and fairly sturdy although not quite as heavy as I expected as I had commercial grade stools in mind. I'm not sure these would rank as commercial grade. We like the little bit of back support and the shape of the seat is a big step up from a flat, round stool. It's very light on seat padding, so much so that you can feel parts of the chair through the padding. The up/down feature works quite well and the foot rest is a nice addition. Overall, happy with the purchase but would like to see more seat padding.

These are super modern and exactly what I was looking for. Theyre the perfect height for our counter and fit under so you can still see them a bit from the front but theyre not too high. The material is nice and wipes off easily. Theyre sturdy and have a supportive back. The cushion is starting to bend down at the end where we sit and our legs hang off. Weve had them about 5 months, but I do really like them.

Stylish and better than expected

These chairs are nice. No one who sees it thinks they are cheap chairs. I have been using it for over a month now, and find the height adjustment works great for my family. We use these at all around the house, and my kids like that they can adjust it to a height that works for them. They need little help lowering it because of their weight; each kid is around 50-60lbs. The padding is comfortable even after sitting in it for a few hours. It is lightweight and can be moved fairly easily, which also means it can tip if you are not careful. I wouldnt say it tip easily, but if I sit on the edge of the chair and lean forward, it will tip. My kids have never had it tip when doing homework and using it as they are intended. As a note, the height measurements on the site are a bit off. At its very lowest setting, seat height is 24, and height back measures 35.75. Highest setting puts seat at 32.5 and seat back at 43.75. The website stated that the chair adjusted from 21.5 to 31.5. I purchased these hoping that at its lowest setting, it would fit under my table and my counter, but that is not a big deal for me. We still love the chairs. I do not let it so close to the edge, so it just butts up against edge of table instead of fitting underneath. The seat itself measures 16wide x 15Deep; seat back is 15 wide by 12 High. I'm very pleased with this chair, it delivered faster than expected which was a pleasant surprise. And it is super easy to put together and comfortable.

Directions are lacking

They could have made it a whole lot easier if the they explained what they meant by the word orientation with regard to the foot rest. THERE WAS NOTHING IN THE DIRECTION TO INDICATE how the foot rest was to actually be positioned. Adequate quality.

These are actually pretty good bar stools

These went together pretty simply, They are sturdy and look good. One word of caution, do not sit on them bare as the holes will imprint.
